It’s great to catch up with Andrew each month, as I really enjoy working with him and his run coaching. This month we got to revisit my Stoked experience in Revelstoke. The three-day event was so much fun. Jacob Puzey and the crew did an incredible job, and I was grateful to take part. The courses were awesome, the village was a blast, and this event is one I would recommend to anyone who has the chance to check it out!
Why we didn’t run at Fat Dog:
Fat Dog 120 Went Up in Smoke. What Do You Do When the Goal Disappears?
Well, it wasn’t the event we pictured when we signed up, and it’s disappointing to face, but Fat Dog 120 being cancelled isn’t the end of my running career, so I will live in the disappointment, grieve the loss, and move on. That’s all we can do, right? The good news is, Coach Andrew Miller has great perspective, and we had a great episode chatting abou…
We also chatted a little bit about preparing for an offseason and how to maximize that time. Get some rest and look ahead. Simple enough, right?!
It was an honour to run with Andrew this season. I didn’t get to take the start line at Fat Dog 120 as we had hoped, but the training was incredible. I had so many great days out with friends, and it’s a year that I will remember fondly. I hope you all enjoyed the listening this season. Tell us where you listened from and what you were training for!
